I don't know if they regarded the PC's as a higher model Reno, but more of a modern design/ newer model and thusly pushed it harder in the adverts.

 

The M90 was an aging model but it still was the flagship.

 

I'm curious as why the M70 was never given a remote DIN plug like the 50 and 90??

IMHO PC series stereos aren't boomboxes but rather minisystems, shelf systems.

The M90 was definitely the flagship but among bbx.

For example, PC-7 sounds much better than M90 but those 2 belong to different categories.
