The Panasonic RX-C100 is a mid sized 3-piece portable stereo radio cassette recorder with 6 1/2" woofers and 2 1/2" tweeters mounted in seperate acoustic suspension enclosures. It features a 5-band graphic equalizer, Dolby noise reduction, soft touch controls and a two-color fluorescent peak indicator. The Panasonic RX-C100 was introduced by Panasonic around 1983, and is known for it's very robust sound and a florescent display not found in many portables of the era. The National RX-C100 is the Japanese domestic version running on 100V AC operation.

I have one of these and they straight up ROCK!!!!!

I have this ugly motha as well I use out in my garage.

Panasonic RX-C100 center section with Yamaha speakers.

It looks weird,but it really ROCKS!

Very nice panasonic's indeed retro,Panasonic models some design's remind me of my Mona wich i still own very simillar in style wise,just a thought though,retro do you think as a newer 3piece the DT680,would look pretty reto in the silver colour?

Had this in the day. Spent so much time with it. Powered my teenage. I still remember the feel of the weighted tuning. Heavy, sounded good, robust. Ordered from JR music world and had it sent up to the great beyond. Did well with cassette playback...rockin' tape player (just don't turn it up all the way). The curve of the florescent display is etched on my retinas.
