im being forced to part with the following due to my parents lack of interest in boxes and wanting me to make room. they both suck
anyway heres what i got- nothing too exciting im afraid:
jvc pc w35
gf 6060
toshiba rt120s
toshiba rt5160s
amstrad aircraft scanner
jvc pc70
hitachi trk 3d8e
2 hitachi monos
sharp gf450
jvc pc-w150 (if BC doesnt want it- will have to confirm)
plus there may be a couple more as i sort em out.they are in various states of condition, pm me with individual interests and ill tell you the probs with them.
all the above are FREE to a good home, but yes, youve got it- you just pay the shipping costs, or if your in yorkshire, come and pick em up!
i have no idea what postage costs will be so well have to work it out between us
i would take a trade for 1/2 boxes at max if you take the whole lot in one go- but youd have to come and collect to do that.
bendy- may bee a couple here for you mate?or fuzzy?id say getto man but these are a bit too out of his league

im 32. and my folks treat me like s##t sometimes. i have no choice where to live as my partner and i dont live together at the moment- but thats a pitty, cos shes got a nice big empty loft i could use. cos if these boys dont go you can thank my parents as to why theyre going to the tip.
just found a panasonic rx-c39 too.good shape, just needs a look at the deck

i cant take any more of this!!! get a frickin camera! you cant post these model names and not show a pic! i dont know what a rxc39 is! i bet no one else really knows! we only care what they look like, no one actually uses these things theyre just there to look cool. therefore pics are required.

had to have a look what the jvc pc-150 was, and it turns out that i have one and the smaller version - so cheers Andy for the 1st catch - they sould alright and have a cool look to them

I dont remember reading one post where someone has asked " how does your GF 777 sound? " with a reply of " dunno dude, i just got it cause it looks cool. I dont actually use it"
took me 2 seconds to switch on one of my boomboxes and listen to it so you have 0 excuses, its easy and far better than just looking at them !

I can understand where both of you are comming from,but for me,it depends on what stereo's bring back memories,i have a 777,a conion,a j1,GF9000..all are very nice boxes..but i also have a couple of other boxes that dont sound anything like these e.g Sharp GF5454,it sounds kinda cronik and its looks aint anything to sweat about,but i remember my friend had one in the 80s,we used to have a good time with it,lots of good times,so thats enough for me to want one..
another is a GF500,this sounds bad,it does'nt even have bass and trebble,just tone..but again,i had one in the 80s,brings back good memories so i just have to own one,wether it sounds great or not..another box i want is a Deccasound,did'nt sound that great but good memories,so i want one...
