Denon DRM-700 3-head tape deck for sale... $60

Hello,

Okay, I know this is not a boombox, but you can use this to make top quality ammo for your blasters!

I have a 100% functional (which means everything on it works exactly as it should) vintage 1989 Denon 3-head, audiophile grade component tape deck for sale. I'm selling it because I now own a fleet of Nakamichi decks and simply don't have room for this one in any of my systems. The first $60 plus shipping takes it!

When new in 1989, this thing sold for upwards of $400. Hook this up to your home stereo to make the best possible recordings for your boomboxes.

It has bias fine-tune, record/source monitor options, auto tape-type switching, ultra-silent transport plus Dolby B & C noise reduction features. It also has HX-Pro circuitry built-in. The HX in HX-Pro stands for Headroom Extension. This is a single ended system that basically gives several db more recording headroom onto cassette tape, and that greater signal headroom essentially reduces audible background hiss noise. Because it is a single-ended system, tapes recorded on an HX Pro machine do not need to be played back on an HX Pro machine in order to benefit from this feature. Unlike Dolby B or C which can often sound muffled if the playback deck does not have the same dolby feature. Trust me on this one... no boombox out there will make a recording as good as this cassette deck can. Period.

This deck It looks as good as it works. It is 120V 50/60hz, so that pretty much eliminates a European buyer unless you want to use a step down transformer to 220/240 V.

Here is a very recent pic showing VU's in action...

I'll even include a mixtape or two... Actual shipping will be calculated when I know where to ship it. Or, calculate yourself via USPS.com. Box will ship from zip 34221, weight 15 lbs, 23" x 16" x 12" in size.
