Those boxes have been on there for a month or so... There must be a very good reason why nobody has taken the bait.
Mostly its because they list them as junk and dont bother to test them or give details as to what works and what doesn't.
The amount of boxes I have picked up cheap that were listed as junk and worked but just needed a clean and deoxit, is just not funny... well, actually its fcuking hilarious
If they are still there next week, when I have sold some motorbikes, I will grab them and make 1 nice box out of the 2 and part out the other
Can't remember, but I probably got a few boxes (you can see 'em in the Babes and Boxes thread) there that was listed as "junk" and exactly like you said,... nothing was wrong with 'em - tape decks work and everything. Won 'em for less than $20 U.S. (each) too!
If I actually lived in Japan like you did and didn't have to pay a middle man and shipping charges, I'd stock up!
Yeah, it's amazing to me how people WILL NOT bid on a box because of a little dirt.
