Personally, if I find a M90 at some garage sale for $100 - I'll ebay it for $1200 without even thinking twice. What is wrong with that? I've bought from Ira before, and those are the better boxes I have. When buying from Ira - you can be sure you're getting a boombox AS ADVERTISED - which doesn't always happen when buying on ebay. So just take it easy - or you're really going to end up on everybody's *ignore list*

here are the 2 widest scenarios -- we find a rare grail -NIB M90 -- for FREE -- next to a dumpster
so -- how much do we sell it for ?

we over-pay for a huge marantz 7000 --say $500--
and then pay $220 to import it from australia-
so there is $720 into it --
how much do we ask for ??

--- to me -the whole point is -- that costs, shipping , risks , repairs -- blah blah --
DONT MATTER !!!

the ONLY prices that count -- are what a product is worth to a buyer in its FUN , its collector value and/or its commercial resale value--

I buy/sell on ebay all the time, but with camera gear. Its not unusual for me to buy a kit with a non-working camera or lens, have the camera or lens reconditioned and repost it for a profit. What Ira is doing with this Aiwa is no different, and the BIN sounds like a breakeven.

Good luck selling it. Its such a cool piece, why get rid of it so soon?

Personally, I think you should hold onto it until April, maybe take it on a road trip and proper field test. Then sell it

actually -- thats right --
in the pictures it looks like a cute little 20 pound box -- but its really 44 pounds --the only other box i have that weighs this much -- is my monster panny rx-6400 (A5)
and that has been in an off-site storage for TWO YEARS --!!
with monthly visitation rights

so --- this aiwa either gets sold - or it gets wasted away in storage

i am glad to have had this chance to use it -- its good !!!
