Hitachi TRK-8600E for trade

docs - 2010-11-10 11:20

On offer here is my second 8600.
It is in overall pretty nice condition, probably a 8.5 out of 10 in my books.

Pros:
Line-In fully working
Radio fully working
All functions/controls working.
A good example of this rare box
VU's fully working
Battery compartment clean
Aerial intact and straight (these aerials are really long)
Deck works and has all new belts!

Cons:
Few marks, one on the top edge and a similar one on the side near right tweeter but really nothing major.
The little felt bit under the function selection button is missing. (does not affect function switch working at all)

PM me with trade offer.
Will ship worldwide.

Yeh I am surprised too, the 8600 is a totally awesome box. You're right, in this condition it should do well. I would have rather it went to a brother than ebay though Frown

Hey Doc, just saw this myself. Let me know if you still want to trade. Have quite a few to trade.

Guys I've replied to PM's. This ends on eBay Sunday night so we have til then to crack the deal.

It's a nice machine, but sadly the big, old Hitachis don't seem to go for much. I have a TRK8200 (one down the range from yours), & they often don't sell or go for less than £50.
Not sure why.
They're not big on bass.. maybe that's it?
