looks like a pretty average m90 to me , nothing special . . ebays like that , waves of high and low bids . .

all comes down to the battle for first place , the second highest bidder sets the price !

Something like the Toshiba WX-1 and the Fisher 492 presently in my avatar is plenty big enough!

james the wx1 is bigger than the m90 and nearly twice the weight lol. I would also trade a gf1000 for an 880 but i only have one fully working unit sigh.

tim --no one could ever say that the 880 sounds any less than terrific --
or to use a more technical term --they really do sound 'wonderful'

but IMHO --NO one piece box has the fullness and depth of sound of the m90 --

and no other box makes you say/think/feel :

Ira i dont think a comparrison against my best m90 is fair it's the bionic m90 but it dosent look the part, i wish i had the money mate i would fly over and steal your 880 . With the most luck in the world man i may be finally onto an 880.

I can't say I'm surprised...I wouldn't sell mine for any less than $2000...Sure there seem to be a few out there for sale, but not many that are really nice!
