for those who may think GPX is crappy --

well , THIS one looks and sounds GREAT --like a prosonic 9962 -(-its about the same big size) with some serious bass.

has 3 important problems : no battery cover , both meters do nothing -- and the deck moves perfectly at play, FF and RW -- EXCEPT when you put a tape in it --then it doesnt move at all.

the good parts are the radio, line in and all the controls are excellent-
the photos dont show how cool the color is ---
sort of dark bronze/tan -- beautiful --

and the case is like 99% of the original shine -
hard to say "mint" with this tough crowd --but its at least MINTY

That is a nice unit Ira! I wished I had know you were selling that GPX. My Phy Ed teacher had one of those when I was in HighSchool. It cranked and sounded pretty good,we used it when we were lifting weights.
