Fisher PH-480 Fully Restored

jlf - 2008-05-09 19:05

First things first... Sinister has first on this box if he still wants it.

Fisher PH-480

Fully Restored. Works perfectly in ever aspect.

Pounds the bass too. Stuffed with performance foam.

Signs of life, but overall looks good.

Im going to take it back to my BBX shop tomorrow to check out a slight high pitched noise that happens while playing a cassette.

All new belts.

Cleaned in and out...

New antennas too.

Has some Sun discoloration on the back.

Ive got about $250 invested... these go for a lot more usually.

That and shipping and its yours.

Sinister? You out there?

First offer gets it, pending his decision.

Thanks!

i cant @ the moment man. sorry. too much going on. if you still have it later i may be into it. lemme know.

masterblaster84 - 2008-05-09 20:04

Looks like she's got a bit of a sunburn on the back side. Smile
I'm real tempted to give you a backup offer to Sinister but I must control myself even though I've heard nothing but good things about the 480. Nod Yes

thafuzz - 2008-05-09 20:12

All I've got to play with JLF is the 492 as I'm paying for a Conion very soon. I could bring it up to Portland with me next Sunday-Monday. I'd love to hear it (480) too.

jlf - 2008-05-09 20:20

Go ahead Master! Now open to all...

Sinister... cool to let the other cats know its available! Thanks man! Here's positive feedback right here for ya! Smile

Fuzzy... If its still here when your up, lets hit the local Krispy Kreme and have a sound off!

If youve never 'felt' the rumble of a 480, you'll want one!

Which Conion did you get?! I think I missed a thread or two while Ive been out of town.

jlf - 2008-05-09 20:23

Sun burn is right! It is an interesting pattern. Must have been right up against a window for much of its life.

I would entertain trades on Conion's. I know, probably not a C-100F as they are so much coin. Any of the others, or even a Sharp, GF series... either the 4 digits (9696, etc) or the 3 digit (777, etc) versions!

Thanks!

thafuzz - 2008-05-09 20:41

I'd love to have donut eating contest at the Krispy Kreme. You're on brother! I'm working on a C100F from a member. I can't Nod Yes wait

redbenjoe - 2008-05-09 20:49

my 2 cents -

the 480 is in the real big leagues of bass performance --and very few boxes sound as good -

and NONE of the 4 digit sharps do

and furthermore --$250 is a steal for that 480

so there !!! Smile

oldskool69 - 2008-05-10 05:56

Check PM Mr. JLF. Big Grin

jlf - 2008-05-10 09:22

I know there are several interested parties at this point.

I have some real offers, however to be fair I believe I should let this go to the first one with the funds.

That way everyone knows Ive been straight and not played favorites.

Cool?

I do NOT want to anger any interested parties!!!

thafuzz - 2008-05-10 13:26

So, does that mean I can still mail you that post dated, second party, out of state check? Razz

jlf - 2008-05-10 13:39

Hey... if its gets here first you win! I'll make sure to keep it and cash it even if you dont! Laugh Out Loud

jlf - 2008-05-10 15:36

I dont usually say who bought what from me... I leave that up to the new owner if they like.

All done out of respect ya'll!

THANKS!!!

oldskool69 - 2008-05-10 15:40
