Nice box with great sound. No it won't blow the windows out but at moderate levels this model sounds very good, better than most. I don't think anybody would be dissapointed with this cool Panasonic. Cool

idohaveone of them sound is good at low levels but lets remember is a mid size box. no bumping with this one. but sure is a quality box. and no regular line in either.

i am keeping minefor its looks, in my eyes its a beautiful radio

I agree Drip. I love the looks of this box but it looks way better than it sounds in my eyes. Distorts easily.

I think it's obverse.

The unit has a great sound at normal boost, but when you turn it real loud it don't have the quality any more - but - that's the same with all midsize bboxes.

For me is this one of the best sounding one-piecer I know (and I had a few Smile), nice rich bass (yes, at normal boost), great tuner ... but I don't like the look very much ...

Best wishes

I Agree
"that's the same with all midsize bboxes"

even with the extra strong sanyo 9994 and your solid aiwa 990 --
we just cant push them too much
and expect anything BIG.

Drip, you need to get a DIN to RCA plug, and then one of those little RCA to 1/8" plugs and you an line-in to that sucker all you want...

I also think these are very nice looking. Agree about the sound at normal volume. But this box does not like to be pushed at all.

Sounds very mid-size, but physically it is bigger than you would think. Its larger than an M-70.

sounds like the jvc rc 838 ,very good sound just not a blaster ,overall very decent radio's though ,i love the looks of the 5600 i would buy it based on that alone if i had the money.

I like the 838, but the bass isn't that present like it is at the 5600 ...

Bass: ... it reminds me a little bit on the Telefunken M1. If the bass is full in, it sounds WOW, but if you turn louder, you've got to take the bass out, because the woofers are so soft, and starting to punsh through ...
