SONY CFS-D7

milosancho - 2008-03-30 17:40

Found this Sony CFS-D7 today. No major scratches or dents, cosmetic condition is very good. Needs internal work and I'm not looking for another project (got my hands full with the M90). Here's what I know about it;
-Powers up, all speaker work clean & clear.
-Line in works
-Radio works. But the digital display does not show the station. Digital display shows the clock/time, but if you press to select to show the radio station it does not.
-Tape eject button will not eject if pressed. You are able to prop open door with little force.
-Tape player when you press play, it goes into fwd or rew mode.

I'm sure someone can crack this open and fix these issues. I just don't have the time. So I bought this for someone at S2G to take home. Let me know if you're interested.

Let me know if any more questions.

Very nice looking box, I've been eyeing that model for some time. What are you looking to get for it? Well I guess I should also ask if your in the U.S.A or not as that would effect the shipping cost.

Check PM. Smile

This would ship from Gilroy, California 95020
I would consider also a trade for Teac Reel style cassette(s).

Gilroy is easy shipping, I'm less than 200 miles from Gilroy. I don't have any Teac Reel style cassettes unfortunately.

Then it's yours. I'll send you an email.

I'll watch for the PM, thanks! Smile

I have the manual for it if you want a copy.....

I love this box, not the loudest, etc. but the pinnicle of SONY future tech in 1979....

whats a pinnicle ?

Sorry, Mr. Joe..pinnacle.

Here is a pix of a PINNACLE. Now just imagine two SONY CFS-D7's at its base and you'll see my point.
