OMG! Eek No No

Not sure how this is different than folks paying $400-600 for Lasonic 931 models. This is probably better built, with lower production numbers.

After studying the bids, I have a hunch that the winning bidder typed the wrong amount - instead of 50 EUR he typed 500 EUR. He got stuck with it because eBay won't let you cancel a bid during the last 24 hours of an auction.

The other guy either really tried to get it or ran the bid up on purpose.

Ummmmmmmm... Damn!! Eek

panasonic.fan - 2009-01-28 13:08

He didn't bid 500.00.....

Look at the top two bids, only a 1 Euro difference. If the bid had been 500.00 it would have automatically bumped up by a larger increment when the losing bidder put in his last bid.

The Universum Supersound 16000 is a high quality built, very nice sounding boombox. This is one of my favs (believe me !!!).
But i never saw one leave for more than 150,-€(with original box and manual).
It was my first boombox. I got it from my best friend in 1984. His granny brought it from West Berlin to the GDR.
You have to know, with this Universum Supersound i was like the King Of The Universe, in that country.
YEP, I LOVE THIS EXCELLENT GHETTOBLASTER. Every collector should have one! Nod Yes

But maybe he wants to bid 42 euros and did key in 420 ... it seems a mistake like this seeing his other bids.
A few months ago I bid by mistake a thousand australian dollars for an early CD edition of AC/DC Back in Black ... finally auction ups only to 60 australian dollars, what a relief!

I wonder what this goes for...

Nice looking box and those of you who know place it in the quality category but that price puts it in the current range of M90's and the like. Eek
