Darn i hate VIDEO! Mad Not everyone has high speed internet so you cannot watch video with out it. Why do you need to watch the silly little lights flashing anyway???

vladi123456 - 2008-03-07 06:08

James,
Fully working GF-810 sold for $40 a few days ago - I was 2 minutes late to buy it GF-810

Beast, the video is good simply because it's a proof that the boombox in question works. Sometimes sellers like to advertise a non-working box as fully functional, and then blame everything on shipping - I've seen that too many times. So with the video at least you can be more confident

vladi123456 - 2008-03-07 06:11

And ya - I'm watching it too, but have no money to buy it. Too bad - this is the only 3-piece box I like

masterblaster84 - 2008-03-07 08:22

So much temptation so little money and space! Frown

vladi123456 - 2008-03-07 08:49

Ya, I know - same here! Temptations, but no money - and I've run out of space quite some time ago! Big Grin

All I have in my fridge is 2 months old eggnog, that expired 3 weeks ago - I could totally trade my fridge for Aiwa 880 - at least Aiwa plays music!! Laugh Out Loud

masterblaster84 - 2008-03-07 09:09

Ok then, how about your car? You could fit a few boxes in the trunk and a few more in the back seat. Smile

SHARP GF-800Z(D)

Thanks for the heads-up drat I am too late here again!

See above i wont that that there above and when it arrived it arrived in excellent cosmetic condition Extremely well boxed BUT this had the ole dreaded ( Transformer RePositioning ) going on inside of which is why this never made it to feedback land { why bother it's too far & Just not worth the time an efffort ) to yakkety yakkety yak over something like that ... so when i have time I'll open it up aand see just how hard this would be to fix as now i can see a corner of a circut board ploating around inside ...

I AgreeBut you can see the pretty little lights in a picture also...if it's done right, so it's pointless. Plus video does not really prove alot aside from the little lights. It does not point out the sound quality or if it has physical damage ect.

That is true. But on the other hand - from my own experience - the last M90 I bought a few weeks ago - the seller said it was fully functional, but unfortunately she was not entirely accurate in her description - FM stereo doesn't work on it. So if she made a video and I saw in that video that the stereo light wasn't on - I wouldn've offered her as much as I did. So in my book - any extra info is welcome.

- 2008-03-07 18:58

Why didn't you just give her a call and listen on the phone,or ask her on a date? So if you little flashy lights..everythingthing is good...? Yeah right! Leaving

You have gotta be kidding man... It would be so easy to fool you if you beleive in a cheap video clip! Come on now,get real. I could advertise an M90 with a fake little flashing lights picture and you would bid high based on asomething that stupid??? SOLD!

If somebody advertises something as fully working using fake pictures and/or videos - that would be illegal and you can file a claim with paypal and ebay. I was just trying to say that more info is better than less info.
Relax man - it's friday night - have a beer and enjoy your weekend Smile

oldskool69 - 2008-03-07 19:12

OK...

If someone is going to go through all the trouble to put in fake lights and play something in the background then they have way to much to do besides advertise a box. If someone is willing to take the time to make a video of switching through the functions AND provide pictures, then kudos to the seller. vladi picked up on it exactly. Smile

- 2008-03-07 19:30

I'm on beer no 8 and i'm calling the shots as i see them... Big Grin Come on man, video does not give any more insurance than a regular picture and we both know that... Just because "fm stereo" or flashing lights show up DOES NOT mean it is the real one you are bidding on and certainly not that it will stll be "flashing" and blinking when you receive it. How many years have you been a member on ebay??? I have been there 8 years and have just a little experience.
