Here's the first auction this guy listed. The BIN price was $650 USD.

$850??? It didn't sell for $650 or best offer but now it's somehow increased in value $200 in the last week?
This guy is wasting his listing fees, oh I forgot ebay lowered the listing fees.

Hey, you can't blame the guy for trying to make up for the 5% final value fee bump!!!
LOL.

Remember, he started at $750 and then knocked $100 off about 2 days ago. Now, he's at $850?

... "Logic" must be a foreign concept to him 'cause you'd think he would
lower the price so that he can actually
sell the box.
I think we should nominate dude for contender of the "Assclown of the Year" award.

He needs to do something with the shipping charges as well. His shipping is twice as high as it should be.
I have to say though - I'm tempted now - I've always liked those Sharps....

I'd say go for it. I have 3 of them and i like these
I'll wait and see if he lowers the price some more - I already have GF-9696, and I don't think they sound much different, do they?
Soundwise the 9696 kills the 9797 but the tuner of the 9797 is awesome. I like the soft touch tape deck too
Well...then 9797 is out of question - I think 9696 sounds just ok - I much prefer gf-777

By the way, there's Sharp GF-9595 on german ebay - from our member ghettoblaster68 - that looks very tempting as well!
