OK everybody, I did it.
I drove 340 miles round trip today to pick it up and it's very nice. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

Yes it was, a few accidents cost me about an extra hour of driving. I'm tired and don't want to do anything right now. I'll post pics of the big beauty soon.

Here is a pic of my new addition the Goldstar TSR-801 as promised. Size wise it almost the same as a JVC-M90, it's just a little narrower but it's slightly taller.

Thanks everybody, I'm very pleased with it. It's in darn near mint condition, the only thing to ding it for is some slight discoloration of some of the plastic on the back case. The discoloration is really minimal but enough to keep it from being mint in my book, others may consider it mint. The front is almost perfect, like it's been stored in a closet most of it's life.

Chilinvilin, I'll keep you in mind but I don't think this one's leaving my collection any time soon.

Ed, that's good since this box is to good for a limp wick.

I have to tell you this is one box I don't forsee getting rid of but you never know.
