That always irks me enough not to bid, I've seen that happen on a few boxes I was close to bidding on but passed. When the relist comes out and the price jumped up I jumped out and let the sellers keep their boxes.

someone in Au did that on a aiwa 880 for parts that I was watching, it was listed as .69 to start Au, and I sent an e-mail asking about shipping, the next day the auction was listed as ending early and was relisted with a BIN of $100 which someone bought. The same seller did the same thing on a few of his auctions.

I noticed it too. I worry though that it actually works in some cases. Most people think they are not getting something great unless it costs!

It's like advice, people only listen to what they pay for, free advice is like an *sshole, everyone has some..wait I am getting to many metaphors rolling at once.

I like that box but I sure aint buying.
