I have one of them!! not a bad sounding unit. I never mesured the woofers. I would have thought 6" though not 8.
Yup, I measured mine and they are 6ers not 8's.
Great sounding unit though,and pretty loud too.
Yeah, and the "ONLY" thing that doesn't work is the centerpiece of the unit, the tape deck...
those boxes are really easy to work on ,plus they do have a very pleasing sound to them and can get fairly loud too. the woofers are 6 1/2 inch ,it thumps good tho.
its the crown csc 850 that has 8 inch speakers the 850 and 950 are really easy to replace the belts i have a 850 i love it cheers paul

Yeah these are great boxes in my opinion. I wouldnt hesitate to get one if you dont already have one in your collection!

That was a nice find!!! I had one growing up and looking at the other on ebay now, not so good condition though. Yours looks like it is great condition though. Man that thing rocked. Ran a pair of Klipsch KG2's off it for a while with a turntable. Sure ate up batteries quick though. There's always FM till they compltely die.
