SANYO M9994

driptip - 2009-03-17 19:56

Guys up for sale is a sanyo m9994 radio and tape play , cassette may be needing belts soon, tape starts a bit slow for like 3 seconds and then is fine, green tuner light is good, line in good, MID-TONE (high, normal) works great, super nice BASS at low volume one of very few out there, 300 shipped anywhere in the USA,

Scratches here and there if need more pic let me know. in my opinion best sounding unit compered to 720, 920, not louder but better sound.

I Agree
"not louder but better sound"

Having had both, I'd say that the only box of a similar size with similar (stellar) sound at reasonable listening volume is the Aiwa CS880.

Agreed, this is a superb radio.

If I didn't already have an M9990, I'd be all over that. Especially coming from you!

M9990 and M9994 are two of the best sounding smallish boxes around. Amazing units!

Good luck with the sale.

masterblaster84 - 2009-03-18 09:45

I agree with the sentiment, the 9994 is a great box for it's size. It's one of the few mid size boxes that I won't consider selling at this time. No No I highly recommend the 9994 and driptip. Nod Yes

moncheeto - 2009-03-18 11:11

well to me the 9994k is a little better sounding it has the loudness button but overall it not that bad either for being a mid sized box, the aiwa cs-880 to me is in a different league, but if you say cs-660 then yes but the 9994 still to me has an edge and can still pump some deep bass,, drip whoever gets it should be very happy with that box Nod Yes Nod Yes
