CONION c100f

ash25 - 2009-01-02 15:13

OK,I got this box off ebay a few months ago as a fixer upper, which it didnt power on. With intentions off making it work at least for the fm and or line in one came on ebay 20 minutes away from my house that I bid on and won for 280.00. Now I dont have the time or desire to fool with this and also bought a Trans Am today so the money isnt going to go for fixing up the Conion. I think I paid like 178.00 but I am not exactly sure, may have paid 160.00. I ill try to get pics up so you guys can see. It is a fixer upper so I was hoping to get back my purchase price, or at least 150.00. So pm me if you are interested, thanks. Maybe selling one or 2 of my Lasonics as well. They are ALL VERY CLEAN.

hello im interested, i would like to see pics thanks

redbenjoe - 2009-01-02 15:50

hi ash --to some --a cool Trans AM is even better than a conion fixer-upper!! Big Grin
but if your c100f has the deck door and the bottom tray --you are offering a very good deal-
imho

ash25 - 2009-01-02 20:55

Sorry Red,no cassette door or tape drawer.

jimski - 2009-01-03 04:35

I thought u scooped up one of these

blaster - 2009-01-03 11:34

oh wow yeah, thats the one with the grand national engine... Wink

ash25 - 2009-01-04 03:00

No Jimski, thats a little out of my price range. But without a doubt one of my favorite ta,s. Got a 1998 LS1. AWESOME,CLEAN car.Kind of fell in my face as I was headed to eastern Pa. to look at a 1997 ramair. That 1989 turbo is still one of the fastest trans ams ever built,if not the fastest.

jlf - 2009-01-04 10:04

I always liked the Turbo T/A from about 1980 or so? Not for any real performance, just as a novelty car.

Id like to find me the newest one I can as a daily driver... when did they stop making T/A's? 2002 or so?

transamguy1977 - 2009-01-04 14:54

The 89 Turbo T/A was no doubt a fast car with the Buick National turbo six!!

But the early 70s Ram air 400 and Super Duty 455 T/As
were the fastest "Pontiac powered" T/As ever made.

The last year for T/A was indeed 02. Frown
Good luck with your sale you are sure to fetch $150. its worth that in parts alone.

redbenjoe - 2009-01-04 15:08

had a 1994 FIREHAWK Formula TA
0-60 = 4.9 // factory !!
--cant imagine any quicker pontiacs Smile

ghettoboom777 - 2009-01-04 15:43

Hi Ira-I had a 1973' Formula 400 in H.S.(all factory) Fast-0-60 in about 5.5 if I could hook-up!
I also had a 1979' black Trans-Am 403 olds auto all factory.And yes you guys-factory 8-track stereo-sounded great.
I always had a lot of girls with me in that car!! Big Grin
Thanks and have a great one-GB. Smile Nod Yes

ghettoboom777 - 2009-01-04 15:46

I talked to him the other night, he's sending me some pics. I need it for the aluminum trim and a couple knobs (knobs not a necessity but nice if it has some).

Johnny <-hoping to fix up his radio.

Ash that is no problem at all, I told you that this a done deal, I need a knob and some better trim and I will make sure you don't lose any money.

I really appreciate you going through the trouble to help me out, and taking pictures is great!
