They are indeed 8 inch woofers on the gf9000 adam as for the other they are probbly 6 inch.

vladi123456 - 2008-11-17 13:17

They are 20 cm, which is 7.87401575" Cool

Tim, I've read your opinion a while back, but I don't remember it. In fact, I don't remember what I did last Friday - how can you expect me to remember THAT far back Big Grin
So what do you think of it?

THAFUZZ, it's not as big as GF-777. 777 is 75cm wide, and 9000 is 68cm wide

1 inch is 2.54 cm

- 2008-11-17 13:47

Im not sure of the dimensions adam its pretty big.

Vladi lets just say you know that wx1 you diddnt like well itd a rolls royce compared to pne of theese boxes

vladi123456 - 2008-11-17 19:29

Ya, totally out of my budget, but it looks super nice!

panasonic.fan - 2008-11-17 20:02

Ahhhh...... so good looking. If only the substance matched the style.

I'm sure there is a Sharp aficionado out there that will scoop it up.

masterblaster - 2008-11-17 22:16

Thafuzz - it is a very impressive looking box in real life (much bigger than a 9696 and even bigger than an m90). The sound, unfortunately, is not so big...or clear...or good. It is my favorite looking box by far though... super tough looking, like it was/is for sure a Decepticon Cool

- 2008-11-17 22:36

thats some serious eye candy there. but the sound isn't that great?

hey Rimmer, what are you drinking right now Smile

daiwa - 2008-11-18 09:36

One of the greatest looking boxes, period.

As far as the sound, when Transamguy was here this summer, we put mine up against my mint Lasonic 935, and in overall punch, lack of distortion and sheer sound quality, the Sharp took the day... Hands down...

Everyone loves the big 9000! If Tim was in the tub, he'd love it too! Razz
