Sharp GF-535 AKA GF-9000Z

kawao - 2009-04-17 19:34

I have a sharp GF-535 that I would like to trade for a JVC Kaboom. This was recently purchased from Peppin and shipped from Hong Kong. Peppin rated this box a 9.2 out of 10, which I would have to agree. It is extremely clean and definately an eye catcher.

The only problems that I found is that the FM tuner is difficult to tune into stereo mode and the left speaker trim is bent and has a hairline crack in it. Aside from those two things this box is in wonderful condition.

Here is the link to the original pictures that Peppin took of this particular box.

I am only looking to trade at this present time.

Thanks,
Mike

Does it run on 120v?
And is there a particular model of kaboom you are looking for?
Thanks.

Paul,

This model is rated for 100v but Peppin assured me that it will work on 120v without a problem. I have also tested it here in California and it works fine on 120v.

I am not really all that familiar with the Kaboom models, so let me know which one you have and I will research it.

Thanks,
Mike

bump...

To sweeten the deal, I'll throw in a Lasonic TRC-931. I have almost all the parts for it except a battery cover, a stem to the selector knob and one antenna, but I bought some replacement antennas at Radio Shack that I'll provide. There are two catches. One, is that the box worked until I de-soldered the main board to replace a potentiometer in front. And two, you must pay for the shipping cost for the Lasonic. This is probably an easy fix, but I already have three of these boxes and I don't have the time to mess with it.

I am having a hard time posting pictures. Please send me a PM with your email address and I can send pictures.

I am now open to cash offers for either box.
