Radio's And Boomboxes For Sale

alow1 - 2008-11-03 12:32

I am selling off most of my boomboxes and radio's because I am getting married and moving. I am selling everything on eBay only and I do take Paypal.

My user ID on eBay is "bubbastoybox" I am planning on listing more as the days go on. I work 55-60 hrs a week so I will list them as I have time.

There are pictures of some of my stuff under Boombox Collections on here. If you see something you want let me know and I will see about posting it for sale. I am selling stuff out of one room right now. When I get rid of the stuff in this room I will move to another.

Anyways I just wanted to post up to let people know that I will be selling most of my stuff.

I also will eventually be selling walkmans/discmans among the radios. I will have no reserves on any of my auctions.

I wish I had some BIG boxes, but I do not really have anything really cool. I have a bunch of randomness. Most of my stuff is tube radio's. I will list all my boxes though, except my Lasonic 931 and my Sharp turntable. If I have pictures of it on here though, then more than likely it will be for sale.

I like those little Panasonics too. There is just something appealing about them to me. I have a couple more around here somewhere.

I don't know though. I guess I just reached the point in my life where I looked around and asked myself when enough was enough. I am always going to have a love for audio and things but I just feel like I need to thin out.

So anyways here is a couple of shots of my living room:

Some of the radios I have listed on eBay in front on the floor.

Then there is what I am currently listening to in the living room. There is a pair of Fisher 10's in the middle, the outside cabinets are a 2-pair of 6 1/2's, one being a pair of Atomic's and the outside's are DEI's with image able tweeter's, each set with a Polk passive radiator. Seems like an odd set up I know but believe me it rocks. Its running off an old Kenwood receiver with a Nakamichi RX-202 and a Bang and Olfson turntable.
You may also notice a pair of Memphis 10's out of my Accord in a slot ported box a broken receiver of some sort and other misc....

Behind the couch:

A bunch of stuff, radio's and more radio's. There is a pair of Realistic Mach One's that I am recone'n soon......

Another random shot:

So I guess I just felt that now was the time to move most of it. I love my radio's but I love my soon to be wife more. Even though she says I can keep them all if it makes me happy, I dont want to burden our new house with her having to dust several radio's in every room... lol...

Besides I would rather have one real nice tube radio to listen to then most of the stuff I have. I would love to have a nice Catalin radio like a blue Fada or something, something I have yet had the privilege of owning.

Good luck selling your radio's.

I have to cringe though on what you did to those poor Polk 10's though. Eek

That Nak deck is nice and so are those Mach one's.

No cringing needed, bought with 3 of the 4 drivers froze up. But the cabinets seemed like they were worth the 4 bucks that I paid Eek

Here is my store on Ioffer.com:

I am adding LOTS more stuff,so stay tuned.

If your not a member of Ioffer you should sign up, if you don't like someones price you can make them an offer.

Unlike eBay, they don't charge a listing fee, nor do they charge for pictures. The only time you get charged for something is when an item sells.

alow1 - 2009-01-20 22:54

They might not show up till tomorrow but I put a pair of Magnavox D8300's up for sale.

I offer free shipping on all my stuff so you have to take that into consideration if your interested in something of mine.

Also being that my stuff is on Ioffer, all my stuff is open to offers.
