No wonder Aiwa has such a great reputation in boomers. I mean, look at that thing, it's so solid and proud, and didn't even know the precedence it was setting, in what, the late 70's? Nice find Lit.

Here's something similar on German ebay - Aiwa TPR 900

The TPR-910 has been top of my want list for as long as I can recall.

Looking at the similarities of that timing device under the cassette door I'd say this is the predecessor of your TPR-959
