It always amazes me when people who sell cassette players or record players say things like 'haven't tested the cassette/record deck because I don't have a cassette/record to test it with.

It's like me going to car dealer and him telling me all the lights work, the windows go up and down and all the switches and knobs are there but 'I haven't tested the engine because I have no petrol'.

I suggest you go and get a record. If the record deck does work (which I suspect it doesn't), then you will make even loads more of that wonderful wonderful cash. If it doesn't work then people will know you are an honest guy and will have confidence in buying from you.

Telling people you don't have a record when you are selling a record player say's to me that 1) The record player DOESN'T work and 2) There are probably other things wrong with it.

Anyway, good luck. I hope you make lots of cash.

That's funny but true beatbox. Nod Yes
I always assume the item at the very least doesn't work and may be damaged when a seller uses that verbage. I think we are all smart enough to know that statement often means "I want to make more money by making you believe it may work".

Liars and thieves, watch your back they are everywhere. Wink
