Been a while...time to part =\

noid - 2011-08-17 17:10

hey everyone! it's been forever since I've been here. was off doing some music related projects and I hate to say it..but it's time to part with a couple of gems. I have a Panasonic RX 6400, Conion C100f and a Magnavox D8443 (but i'll probably keep the magnavox for the future..)

The Panasonic RX 6400 has a bit of an adjustment. When I received it, I wanted it to come together as one unit and be a massive monster..so I installed two latches to connect  the console to the speakers..here are some pics:

the unit is top notch and sounds amazing, but some how on of the metal pieces on one of the speakers has screws missing and I can't remember how that happened, but I still have the piece. Throw me some offers

As for the Conion...its a beast and is in amazing condition...I don't have a current photo and a friend is holding on to it, but I can get photos and an update on the sound if necessary. Here is an old picture with me in it - http://i85.photobucket.com/alb...tshrots/DSC_6167.jpg

From what I remember, there is only a decal missing on the front. Otherwise it's great.

Sad to make this decision, but I'm looking to save up for a few production items. Still love this community and will keep my magnavox to stay alive So throw some offers at me if you're interested. My email should be in my profile. Thanks!

we have all of the model's here that you are offering to sell.

We only prefer the Panasonic RX-6400.  does the Cassette work in this ( all functions )  and how well does the rest of this perfom?

What are the Monies that you are looking for these and the Conion?

Would you be willing to put your asking price's out here in the open?

noid - 2011-08-18 08:08

The RX 6400 has everything working just fine. I received it as though it was barely used. Tape deck works along with every knob and button. I don't know what price to throw out in the open as I don't remember how much I bought it for and I would just be interested in hearing others pitch it to me. Let me know if you need any more info. Thanks

blufuz - 2011-08-18 12:38

Interested in the Conion. I say you post an asking price so we don't have to guess back and fourth....

spaceboy - 2011-08-18 15:52

how much would you let the conion go for ?

par5ive - 2011-08-19 09:07

Sent you email...I'm interested in the Conion.  -DJ'

noid - 2011-09-05 15:52

spaceboy - 2011-09-05 16:41

this one sold for ... 3050.00usd-not her's

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370538424734

and this one is for sale for ... 3000.00usd-not-or our's either

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300596436780

so your chance's of getting one is terrific  - the $64.00 question is

how much are you willing to pay?

p.s. the one I have is presently NOT for sale

- only have one (1) as seen in many video's about the internet

spaceboy - 2011-09-06 01:41

yes i seen the ebay ones, either someone is a fool, or someones trying to see how much fools are prepared to pay,

i don't believe any of these have sold or will for that price, these will be reposted on ebay again for sure, just wait.

if someone is looking for ridiculous money for there box why not advertise on ebay, rather than a boombox forum.

i know how much they are worth to me anyway, and not anywhere near half the price these so called boxes are for sale for

wise men learn by other men's mistakes, fools by their own

so no one wants the panasonic rx 6400? =

noid - 2011-09-09 17:28

hey everyone! just got the conion back from my friend and ive made a video outlining its details.

i thought the tape decks worked, but i guess they dont. 2 buttons dont push in, but i believe a minor repair should have it up and going. the door is there and functions just fine. Aside from that and the missing decals and antennas, the unit is great. Loud for sure..

There is a television and radio repair shop near my home, so im thinking of getting it serviced and having the decks brought back. Let me know what you guys think. Here is the link to the video:

Well done for hijacking threads.

noid - 2011-09-19 09:57

wow...great way to bomb other threads lol

so i got my conion back from my friend and sent it in for repairs on the tape decks. once i get it back ill make a video again and put it all up on the bay.

noid - 2011-09-28 07:05

hey everyone!

I serviced my Conion C-100f and got the tape decks working and they put new antennas in. They charged me $145...some of you might think it's a lot but it's better than putting my own hands in there and trying to figure things out. The antennas are not the original ones though. They are a bit smaller but I like them.

I will make a new thread once I have pictures and take a new video and ill throw it up on ebay if you guys are interested. It's going to be hard to let go..but times are calling =

The only thing that could use work is the missing decal by the buttons for Tape A and the picture of a cassette tape where the LED's flash when the tape is running is not glued in anymore and hangs sideways...I'll show it in the video when I post it up later today.

Thanks again for your support guys. I'll keep my Magnavox D8443 just to have something to remember =P
