claret.badger - 2011-11-02 11:17

i prefer 700 to 1200

blufuz - 2011-11-02 14:13

Start your auction at .99 and let it ride man. Every week these sell for a different price. The ones that start low do the best.

noid - 2011-11-02 16:11

thats exactly what i did and here i am again lol

claret.badger - 2011-11-02 19:27

sell it to me

jmez - 2011-12-27 18:53

Curious why this box keeps coming up for sale..?  Think i've seen it listed at least 3 times.. Thanks

noid - 2011-12-27 19:01

simple, cause no one has bought it lol

jmez - 2011-12-27 19:26

Didn't know people play around on ebay like that, bid on something than not pay for it..

What's the point??

noid - 2011-12-29 13:30

thanks for your input but it sounds like you're just out to talk trash. so a missing decal and cassette holder will drop this down to a few hundred than what I bought it for originally..in the same condition minus the cassette players functioning. which i actually had serviced a few months ago and you can see them working in the video i posted. price to repair? 150. so I wish you the grandest of luck to find a box like mine for 300. a decal can easily be fixed and a tape holder isn't the most important feature. nothing on this box is banged or bruised up like the others you'll find and actually looks and sounds great. don't like it? don't look at it.

noid - 2011-12-29 13:32

and btw a box for 300 would be a box with no tape door, probably a Korean knock off and missing knobs, which mine is none of

I suggest taking new pictures, put the starting bid low, and list it like you have never had it up before. Write a new description, insert your video, and let it ride. Bidders are discouraged when an item is listed more than once. Seriously, yours is the only one on ebay right now that's worth a damn. There will be a bidding war at the end for it and I would venture to guess you will hit $600.

PS, I have the section of metal trim that goes to the left of the lower cassette you can have (it's not perfect, but it's free!). The other trim around the cassette keys and the tray you are on your own for.

chris69 - 2011-12-30 11:15

That really decent of blu_fuz to offer one piece of trim for free and i agree that starting it off low will get you the best price in the end. The secret to getting a good price is to be sure it ends on a busy night like a Wednesday or Thursday when people are in the middle of the work week and close to pay day because people are more will to spend freely when their check is close. Also make sure your auction never ends before 8:00 PM helps because some people eat late ect....
Be sure to mention any and ALL flaws that you can possibly think of and buyers will see that you are being 100% honest...

$700, congratulations.

Wonder if the winner reads this forum, and contacts blu-fuz for the missing trim.  If he doesn't, blu-fuz you should put that trim piece on Ebay for $100

boozo - 2014-04-25 15:14

Did you get the 700?

I just seen a dilapidated non working yellowed out unit go for $400.

docs - 2014-04-25 15:29

Yes 3 years ago ...

noid - 2014-04-25 15:48

haha...i dont even remember what happened to it =P

boozo - 2014-04-25 15:54

I am just looking to sell my unit. I was glad you got some dough.

noid - 2014-04-25 15:55

to be honest, i think i would have rather kept it. =P

boozo - 2014-04-25 16:00

oh I would love to keep mine...but I need the money...but if I don't get a grand, then I am just happy to keep it.

driptip - 2014-04-25 22:28

to get a 1000 it would need to be in close to mint condition and fully working, do you have a pic of it?

- 2014-04-26 04:40

Hey Chris_69 - Off topic reply here, but I just noticed that's my photo you're using as your avatar.  Cool! Glad you like it!
