JVC M90 - For Sale!

tim.fahrenreich - 2011-11-03 22:22

Hey Guys
Found this forum looking information for my JVC M90
Just letting you guys know it's for sale
here the Craigslist ad!

http://losangeles.craigslist.o.../ele/2678069206.html

like the ad says the only faults are a few dings and broken antennas (which is keeping the FM light from coming on)

Willing to paypal and ship to a new home!

If craigslist/this forum dont prove fruitful, will be going to ebay (which i dont want to do)

Thanks!

Haha

claret.badger - 2011-11-04 13:32

definately worth 350 quid

billy.the.binman - 2011-11-04 15:46

im still envious of your £12 m90.

considering inflation, £150 is a fair offer, its inflation + karma.

if it was to my door i actually would spend £350 on this.

claret.badger - 2011-11-05 07:15

the box is worth as much as the buyer and seller sees fit

i'll find another for the right price

andyfromperth - 2011-11-05 07:26

sounds like your chasing top dollar, so chuck it up on ebay

ghettoman - 2011-11-05 07:32

i agree with andy, get it on ebay, thing is with these forums,we dont like to pay wacky prices, decent prices yes,but not mental amounts,if you care about the box and want it to be cherished,a collector is its best destination, but if you just want to shift it on,ebay is your best bet..

And Hey Andy..you have a Marantz ph32,i love them little marantz..

andyfromperth - 2011-11-05 07:39

thanks Beanie Man, yeah she's a wee ripper!

claret.badger - 2011-11-06 03:37

let's be honest no box is worth more than you can afford

and the JVC M90 is not worth more than 150 quid if we're/i'm honest

just sowing seeds . . . . . . .

ghettoman - 2011-11-06 07:24

same with me,i steer clear of the big money boxes,i just wont get involved..sorry to all the M90 fans, and i know i'm starting to sound like a faulty cd by repeating myself, but these m90s and m70s dont float my boat anyway, they look a bit bland and boring,i prefure a sharp GF9494,9696,even 8989,they are easily just as nice and more exciting looking, and cost a fraction of these jvc's..

redbenjoe - 2011-11-06 08:04

its all just a matter of personal taste and personal finances --

but- imo

and whether we luck out --and score a yard sale m90 for 12 bucks

or win an ebay one for $$ thousands !!

there is still no 1 piece box in the world that has its

expansive and beautiful sound quality

ghettoman - 2011-11-06 08:12

i agree ira,its a top quality box, well made, sounds awsom..just dont get what they sell for thats all really, but yes its all about what you can afford at the end of the day..and you have to be lucky..a majority of M90 owners have had luck on their side..

redbenjoe - 2011-11-06 08:17

i agree -

forget which members -- but over the years - this site has

posts from lucky folks who have bought m90s for 3 bucks , nineteen bucks -

and a few were free gifts

radio.raheem - 2011-11-06 08:32

it's not only one of the best sounding 1 peice....it nocks socks of most 3 peice like the jvc pc55

you are not alone  I find their desing is boring, also, do not like them at all.

radio.raheem - 2011-11-06 08:50

they are bland and boaring....specially the m90....but it's sound more than makes up for that....the m70 to be honest i dont think it's worth much more than 50 quid

claret.badger - 2011-11-06 10:20

^^ yup

let's keep this up and start a downturn in prices - cheap boxes FOR ALL!!!

although a member on here who seems to hoard the majority of the worlds stock of boxes may not want that to happen

driptip - 2011-11-06 20:06
