Conion C100f for sale $270

shakespeare - 2011-11-22 07:41

You might have seen this one on ebay. This is the korean remake Conion C100f. It has the chrome knobs and the silver center console face (no VU meters or tape run light). The radio works great, but the attennas are missing, so it needs new ones, but I managed to pick up a few stations well. Both cassette decks do not work and the play and rewinds buttons are missing. (the rewind, fastforward and pause buttons all engage properly and work) The line-in works, however it takes a lil' while to get it to work properly, you have to hold the switch up for a second then release it until it plays, you have to continue this until it plays. And the right speaker has some static issues while the line-in is engaged, but does play fine after a while of messing around with the function switch. There are also two nickles inside the right speaker grille, that's how I bought the box. I don't know how they got in there.

The box looks pretty good for its age. Mainly just normal wear and tear scratches, nothing serious. No cracks or anything. The right speaker grille has a little mark on it. Looks new from a good distance. All the chrome is very nice. The pictures honestly don't do it justice really, I just reuesed the pics from the auction when I bought it bcuz I don't have a camera at the moment, it looks a gazillion times better in person, trust me.

All lights work great.

Once again, like I said earlier, the line-in DOES work, however you have to mess around with the function switch quite a bit to get it to stay put on line-in. I kind of started to get a good feel for it and can get it to work well after like 30 seconds of messing with it. The right speaker sometimes has static while on line-in though, it's not very harsh at all, but sometimes it does get harsh, and you have to mess with the switch again. But once you get the hang of it, it's not really a problem. Some of the lettering has some fading, and there is a little rattle in the box when moved at times. It sounds very light and could be the missing tape deck buttons. The top deck's motor does seem to work, you can play a cassette adapter through it, but you have to mess around with the function switch a lil just like with the line-in.

The radio works perfectly though, it just needs attenas, it sounds very crisp and there is no speaker static or messing around with any switches when it comes to the radio.

I am looking to sell this by 11/25 because I really need the money to be transfered into my bank acount by the 28th for something really important.

I will ship out the next day asap and it will be well protected.

I bought this for $430, but the seller never mentioned the problem with the line-in thing. I can get it to work pretty good, so I don't really mind. But, I just wanted to be honest with potential buyers, which is why I have to take such a lost as far as selling it.

$270 and it includes shipping. Msg me asap if interested, looking to sell by the 25th, 26th at the latest. Hopefully, I can borrow a cam by then, so I can upload a youtube vid possibly.
