Aiwa / Wega 33 Mini Carrycombo - rare High Power Unit !

hifitom - 2012-01-18 12:36

Hello

Here for exchange (or sale) a very rare german mini portable system - a 14 kg heavy monster units with unbelivable power! Very strong unit, great production quality, massiv. Got a carry handle at the top, the sweet sounding 2-way speaker system could be removed. There is a option to power this unit with 12 volts (car battery), or for a selfmade rechargeable battery pack at drawer (right down at the bottom).

Wega, based close to Stuttgart (Germany), was sold in the 80's to Sony. Awia also offers this unit, but not as a carry combo - not in this color and with those speakers.

Can you wear it on your belt as a walkman?

Does the lower battery unit hold power?  I have the Aiwa unit which I should add you can just about carry.  Yours is far, far nicer than the Aiwa.

Hello

Thanks for your feedbacks - here the answers to your questions:

What is 13,9 kg?

That's about 30,6 pounds - as heavy as a Telefunken Hifi Studio 1. You'll need big arms to carry this monster around ...

110 volt?

No. There is just 220 volts but every unit got a 12 volt input. There is the possibility to make a rechargeable battery pack at drawer by yourself (not included), because there is enough space to do that. (see photos below)

Does the lower battery unit hold power?

There is no battery unit! It's just the option to do that by yourself, if you don't have two left hands this should be no problem.

Nicer than the Aiwa?

Hmmm - I would exchange it againt such a Aiwa unit. I got two of them (see photo below), which is the reason why I offer it here for exchange! PM sended!

Thanks and best wishes

TOM
