just wondering if anyone have put these models up against each other?
iv found my 767 sounds better than my 777and 919,i find that a bit strange as it's the most basic of the three!

It depends on alot of different things. For example you can take 3 identical Conion's or JVC M90'S and usually one will sound better than the others,louder,clearer ect. It's hard to compare VINTAGE audio equipement unless all are mint NOS for obvious reasons like various degree's of wear,condition of the tuner,pots,heads ect ect...

yer i kind off did think that mate,i have noticed that out of my two gf9494 the cleaner one does sound slightly better
