So fooking angry with ebay

mitchelljames - 2012-03-14 14:46

Rising 20 20, wanted one for ages, hardly ever see them for sale in Europe, one pops up on german ebay, went with my usual last second bid.....ebay decides at that point that im not logged in any more and must sign in.

Needless to say i didnt get my bid in and it went for £39, looked good too

I read somewhere that sniper bids weren't accepted in europe?  That bids in the last few minutes didn't count..?

Been there done that yesterday bidding on a Hitachi with nice vu`s.. not the first time wont be the last..

Have been signed into ebay, then unwittingly pressed "back" on my browser only to be logged out. That was a steal for sure and this has happened to everyone at one time or another. Hang in there another will come across, or there is one on ebay dot com right now. Good luck!

I had it happen to me many many times as a buyer and as a seller, i have had alot of bidders who were bidding on my auctions message me almost crying because they lost.

Waiting until the last minute is arely a good idea because it's too risky unless you are using auction sniper.

happened to me the other week..you think your signed in and your waiting till the death to snipe a box....funnily enough it was the same box a rising src 2005...went for 44 euros...cheap

I get so sick of having to "sign in" 10+ times per day even though i check off the box "stay signed in"...Grrrrrrrrrr.

It's supposed to make ebay more secure by doing this, but it's just plain annoying!

Remember the stress of last minute bids back in the days of dial-up & Windows 98?

50 seconds to go... Will the connection stay up? Will the page reload? Will the browser freeze? Will Windows crash with that blue screen of death? The stress of all that was going to kill me for sure.

Now I get stroppy if my phone doesn't process a bid instantly...

It hasn't been that long since we switched from Dial-up here haha!! About maybe a year actually.
