My mate Rick had this very boomer in the Mid 80s.

It's a solid little performer considering we are talking 3W x 2 & only a tone control.

However, when I got my first Philips (the little D8132), we were both surprised that the Philips sounded a little 'richer'.

 

The price is obviously insane. Anyone paying half that price is going to be most dissappointed with it's performance.
