Does that price not seem a bit optimistic?

Things are getting out of hand!

stereo.mad - 2012-11-05 04:43

Omg how much!!!!! He can keep it for that price!

lav.loo - 2012-11-05 05:04

that box is only worth 100quid max in my opinion, why do these people exist i wonder!!

scottym - 2012-11-05 05:37

Tell him to GO STICK IT UP HIS he can keep it forever at that price.

northerner - 2012-11-05 05:42

Thats it...I'm definitely putting mine up for sale then!

Actually I would sell mine but would expect a whole lot less than that!!!!!!  Will bung it on ebay at some point but think I might go with a slightly lower starting price ie 99p!!!...or a tenner tops!!

deliverance - 2012-11-05 05:43

over the top price bet he has been offered £200.00 .

scottym - 2012-11-05 05:44

pick these up all day for £50 on ebay

nickfish - 2012-11-05 05:55

I saw an Aiwa 950 on a buy it now at the weekend for £180. I was tempted because a perfect one went for more than that a couple of weeks ago and I want one really bad but it was untested and sold 'as is' so I could not risk it. Someone did though; it was sold this morning! These were going for £60 to £70 earlier this year and I am kicking myself on a regular basis now.

Ha ha! they're not that bad ...not brilliant, but for a cheap box they're ok and they look pretty cool and they've got a line in.  Pretty common though.

iv'e had most hitachi's in the past, 8190 8200 8290 8600 8800 9100 and i thought the 8600 sounded the best and even that was'nt that great.

i do love the look of hitachi's though, just don't like all the holes on the back case lol

northerner - 2012-11-05 07:18

I like the look of the 8190 but I know I'm never going to bother plugging it back in to listen to as mines no minter so its looks don't make up for its average sound...so theres no point me keeping it .  I'll chuck it back on to ebay where it came from when I can be bothered, luckily it only cost me a tenner so I reckon I can make me money back

deliverance - 2012-11-05 07:29

the worst hitachi i bought was the trk-w55e awfull,   i have  made better sounds on the toilet.

one of the best hitachi boxes imo.

my 8190 has some pitting here and there so im gonna replace it with the 8290

Correct Bison that's the value of an 8190 at the most IMHO.

northerner - 2012-11-05 11:20

£40 profit then...ker-ching!
