i have a 777 door and a helix and i really dont see how it would work.

Thanks Blaster but I looked into it and it's not a practical retrofit. The Sharp door is 1/2" wider and shaving off 1/2" effectively removes the clips that secure the door in place so I'm not quite ready to go that route yet. Also, the price....... well, I guess I'm just too cheap to spend $100 on a single tape door.

I Agree I'd expect a complete boombox for that price. $100 for a cassette door... crazy.
