Panasonic Boomboxes wanted

teamrocketreviews - 2012-08-21 09:20

Looking for Panasonic RX-5500, RX-5050, or RX-5090 (personal favorite). I'd like to know the average price ranges for each of these machines.

50-100 quid

I live in the US, so how much would that be?

lav.loo - 2012-08-21 14:06

100/150 dollars, there is no set price on any box, they vary all the time.

it's really what your willing to pay mate.

for example a 5500 could sell for 50 dollars today, and next week one could go for 200 dollars.

that's just the way it is

I have a Panasonic RX-5090 that I'm trying to sell. I'm in Brooklyn, NY. I haven't cleaned it though, afraid I might damage the original paint/finish. I'll leave that to the pros. Let me know if you're still looking for one and can pick up in NYC. I also have a few brand new sealed cassette tapes to go along with it.

Sorry, I can't do local pickup, I live in Red Sox Nation, could you ship?

Unfortunately the market has become swamped with 5500's ever since someone got $700 for his a couple years ago.  After that happened, every doofus tried to get a piece of the action.  Now they only go for $150-200 even though they are higher quality than JVCs, Aiwas, or anything else for that matter.
