WANTED Glue for Refoaming Speakers

glen - 2013-02-22 22:42

Hello everyone
Been working hard on my project Aiwa CS880 hardly had time to visit the forum. I've become a bit stuck so to speak (excuse the pun) on the type of glue to use to refoam the speakers, does anyone have any idea what type of glue to use?
i recently bought two speaker surrounds for my Aiwa CS880 off ebay but they dont sell it with the glue. So i'm sending out an SOS, lol.
Btw, this is the link where i bought the surrounds from just in case somebody else needs it.

Cheers I will.
Btw. When I joined this site back in Dec 12, I thought it wld take forever to get an Awia CS 880, but i managed to get one within 4wks, I actually was offered a choice of two.
Happy hunting Jim.
You will get one eventually,  don't give up. Word of advice be careful who you buy from.

I have successfully used Lepages invisible wood glue , it stands the test of time- basically that is what you bought off the bay , when you get them the texture will be the same as Lepages - as long as it dries clear should be fine- post your results !
