Hi, cords for boomboxes are fairly generic , do you need the manual to complete your owner`s experience, or is there something you don`t  understand?  The 8600 is a fine work of Japanese Craftsmanship .

Hi.. thank you for your reply. I do have a cord that "sort" of works.. but I need to "pull" the cord to one side so the connection works properly.. I guess the cord I have is not quite the right one though I can get it to work. I will try to find one that works better.

I mainly want the manual to replace the one I originally had when I bought this machine in the 1980s.. I  misplaced it over the years.

It still works not to bad... the tape deck needs to be repaired again.. and a kid broke the original antennae.. so that is now a replacement I had installed. But it still look pretty
