Another one to the list

Hey,

I know that I do not post much here in the WM section... (at the moment I do not post much anywhere, as a matter of fact Smile).

This said: Back, quite a few years ago, I had this Walkman, see... This Walkman I had I traded for another... for the one I had was so-so... but the one I traded for was TOPS!!! This was about 1981/82 -if memory serves.

A few years down the line (I was a lot older), I went to Brazil. In Brazil I did about 150 hours of busing around the country. On one of my trips I, like an ass... being quite tired, forgot The Walkman in the pouch in font of me (often and classical thing which happens in buses and airplanes)...

I had noticed about a half hour later, went back to the bus (for I was still at the bus stop) went inside, had a look and noticed it was gone!!!! The cleaners had passed before me and “Long Term” borrowed my poor Walkman...

This said, I did post about two years ago here trying to find the same model, also went on all the E-bays I could around the world. But it is in Japan (yahoo) that I found it!!!!!!!!!!! Well, found the model I had lost.

It is now here, in very good condition... BUT, as you can imagine, not 100%...

It is missing the normal/metal selector switch.

Here is the switch area were you can see it is MISSING!!!!

NOTE: If some one has this model (or similar) and they are willing to send me the switch so I can make a mold, for a reproduced switch for my CP1, I will pay for all the mailing. Registered mailing... so as not to get lost!

So there you have it the Hitachi CP1 with a missing switch. Any one have a switch, give a PM/shout.

Thanks guys and gals!
