Any available info on a Sony walkman WM-F501?

Hello, does anyone here have any info on the Sony WM-F501? I just got one and wondered if anyone has one as well. I tried to find it in this forum but nothing came up. Maybe this walkman isn't worth much but it sure looks like a winner to me. The player has fm,am, and tv frequencies, auto reverse, dbb, dobly nr. It's really thin and housed in a case where 1 AA battery supplies the power. It has a sticker on the front in Japanese characters I'm assuming. I will try to post pics of it soon. Any thing will help, thanks.

DBB-dynamic bass boost (mainly a term used by Philips, but Sony has also used this term instead of MEGA BASS).

I think this was the first walkman with DBB & internal gum-type battery (not in external holder like wm-100). Loads of info can be found here:

Thanks for the info fortexg but the google translate link didn't go. What language is that link?

Japanese-/jp usually means a Japanese language website.

Yes, Japanese - like most .jp sites Wink

The posted link is broken in two lines - you need to copy both lines.

You can go to translate.google.com and paste the .jp link there
