What is my tps-l2 worth?

Hello Everyone

I discovered his website while researching a walkman that I bought at a yardsale for $1. It is a Sony TPS-L2 Soundabout. and it is in mint condition. It works as well. I think i need to clean the head cause it does have a little "dirty sound. It plays at the correct speed though. It is the older one without the word WALKMAN on the bottom. The leather case is in very good condition, it does have a couple of indentations on the front though, but the leather is not ripped at all. I have the neck strap and the case for it and they are in mint condition. I have the original headphones and they are in very good condition, but i do not have the foams for it. I do not have a manul, but i do have all of the other paperwork that came with it such as warranty card and they are in mint condition. I have the original box too and it is in good conditon although it is worn on the edges. The original styrofoam is in it as well. I have seen a few of these sell on ebay and I have only seen one with the box and that is not the same box that I have. I bought this with the intent of selling it on ebay. I knew it was old when i saw it and thought i could sell it for maybe $50, but i had no clue it what the first one. What is this worth? Thanks to anybody that takes the time to read this

Thank you very much for the reply DrMR2000. Yes, this thing definitely works and is in MINT condition. I need to get a tripod so i can take some really clear photos to place on ebay. Thanks

Sounds like a real catch! Judging by your description, the only items missing from your TPS-L2 box are; the original demo tape with sound effects, sony batteries and the manual as you mentioned. Other than that, it sounds like a great unit. Can't wait to see the pics!!!

I guess we're still waiting for pictures????
Maybe you could give us the ebay item # ?
Good thing you're selling it for a quick buck, if you hang on to it, listen to some good cassettes and generally have some fun with it you may be cursed and keep it. Who knows--in 6 months you may have a 50 of em.
