Hi. Many many years ago i had a really cool panasonic walkman. It had an in line remote with a lcd graphic equaliser on it. This thing was no bigger than a cassete case. Unfortunately i sold it.
I would like to know if anyone could tell me the model number of it. I might try searching ebay and see can i get my hands on one, if only i knew it's model number. Regards all.

Hi!

Panasonic players of the S and SX series are all very slim. However, only few have graphic eq on lcd screen. I think it might be RQ-S60. I think JohnEdward recently acquired one off ebay. Can you be more specific about the features and the year you bought it?

Hi. It would have been 1990-91 if i recall correctly. The player itself was tiny. The smallest cassette player i have ever owned. But the cool part of it was the inline remote. It had an LCD display with a tiny spectrum analyser. So, there you have it. A really cool player. I just can't remember the damn model number.
Cheers.

If someone can tell me how to post a pdf file on here I have a pdf file of the RQ-S60 owner manual that shows 8 eq settings and notation on remote of what setting is at. Specifications show 15 - 20,000 for the S60 and 15 - 21,000 for the S80 I do not know if they both have same unique head ?

I believe mine RQ-SX55 have the ASC EQ and RQ-S60, RQ-S75, RQ-Sx72, RQ-S80 and RQ-SX41 only ones that I have that are small around that time RQ-S60 is the smallest out of all of them, they came out in 1993-1994, in 1991 Panasonic made them big, they didn't have any slim full logic player back then.

Thanks for all the help. I think it was an RQ-S80. I don't think there will be many of them up for sale anytime soon.
Cheers all.
