Sorry For Late Delay in Listing Walkmans

coolcol - 2010-02-08 05:36

Hiya everyone,

sorry to keep you guys & dolls waiting for my listings of walkmans as have been very busy helping rehearsing my girl (in a band) in her Valentines Disco.

I have ask my girl to pick two walkmans that she can keep.
To my horror she has picked the TPS L2 (which is older than my wife) and the mint WM 106

My mother in law has picked the mint red F202 ( i think) and the panasonic RQ SX97V

My wifes has not decided yet as she is basically not interested in any of them.

I will be posting two tonight.

Have fun,

Colin

Hi, would you post the links to the auctions here for ease of use?

Don't know why people don't collect DAT recorders, it's was the best format of the time! Price use to be very high, but came down alot from the early days. You can obtain one for $200 or under,in good working condition or rebuilt for $300. Was the best format of it time, BLow away the best tape deck and most reel to reel at the time. And parts are easy to find.

how would you compare the sound to a sony d-ej925 or a an iriver slim x 350. also i consider the fun of bringing back an early 1980's cassette player that hasn't been run in 25-30 years. those cd players i mentioned can be bought in near mint condition for about 30.00 delivered with just a little looking. i have lots of cassettes and cd's to fill those many times over. i have never even held one of those digital cassette players in my hand. i have a small mp3 player which, to me, has inferior sound to my decent cassette players and even some of my cheapos. 64 and 128 sounds just a bit empty to my ears. why go ,,what some would say, is the middle ground ?
