No, not at all. This is a very common basic walkman which usually sells for about $5.

Yes i have seen this listing as he/she tried to sell it at £110.00 about a month ago.

I have had this walkman even though they are basic but equalizer works well. I sold two in the past but without boxes for a maximum of £10 each. I think this tops should be about £20.

they really look cool but i think you would be disappointed. mabey less than 30.00 if really nice, clean condition. reminds me of a wm-f49/f59 i bought a while back. fun for a day and then gradually working it's way to the back of the shelf. save your money and get something memorable. sony was starting to go down hill and living in the past when that came out.

Beautifully put rerooted.

Looking again I see that this unit is boxed, in which case £20 is a more reasonable price, possibly £30 max.

That's what I thought. I was basically attracted to it cause it's some sort of special edition. They apparently gave it away when you bought a new Mini back then...

if your talking about the mini-cooper,,that would be a whole different experience. they have become quite common in the usa in the last 3-4 years. a whole lot different than a 2000 corolla or a 1998 chevy lumina we drive.

The "Red Hot" & "Jet Black" minis (that this walkman appears to be associated with) were special editions from 1988 of the old/original Austin Mini. Not the cooper version alas... only a 998cc engine:
