dug the 7 out today. Stuck some AA`s, and a tape in. Boy, this thing still sounds good.

I have a Black WM-7 with orig. headphones and totally agree. This player has a wonderful sound to it and the dolby B circuits in this model I think is one of the BEST Dolby B on any player. The original headphones are a very good match to the player. Definitely ranks in my top 10 players that I enjoy listening to. And love the sound and engagement of the functions of this player. Not to mention when you pick this player up in your hand you KNOW it is built run for decades and it has. Mine has a new belt on it and thats all runs perfectly.

Totally agree also. I most of time do not use dolby b. But as Dolby B goes on Walkman the WM-7 does not cut the highs as much as most and does better than most dolby B players at reasonably reducing hiss. Was just commenting
that the dolby B on this player is above most.
Listening to mine right NOW Big Grin Dolby B OFF !

I curious to, I always switched off the dolby on my walkmans cause it cuts too much highs !
(even with the latest wlkies) but I have an oportunity for a silver WM7, I hope I will catch it Smile
