WM-F30 unknown PINK model ?

johnedward - 2009-02-14 15:00

Saw this lot of 3 Sony's not working for sale just ended ebay. To my memory do not know of Pink being a model color for this series. Any comments? Sadly did not think they would go for much so my bid was to low at last moment.

hi..i bid on those. he told me the pink one was coming unglued. does it look like a little super glue will do it ? i wasn't sure as i never had one of those.

Arghhh! 'Super Glue', are you sure? To glue plastic to meatal or plastic, always use epoxy glue.

This is a nice, nice stash. We all know how rare the WM-5 is but the pink F30 would have been the better catch here. I remember the days (4 years ago) when a clean F10 would fetch £200 on eBay. Happy Days

you may be correct on that. the only place that i've used it is over that yellow cement that was used origonally. that may be why it's been working so far. if i go directly to metal to plastic i think i will give epoxy a go.

I have one where the plastic front came off.
It used double sided tape to hold it originaly.
The tape dries out.
Probably a common problem.
Try some double sided tape.

not a bad idea. you would need some really good high quality stuff. there would be no chance of an ooze out or finger print. i think i will give it a try.
