Sony walkman retractable headphones?

doublecee - 2009-01-27 11:18

Hi..

A friend of mine is looking for an old white walkman, circa 1989 -1991 (ish) that had two indents on the rear, allowing you to retract the ear buds.

I have no idea.

Do any of you guys know.

Thanks

Thanks for posting the pictures, AO!
My dad just passed up one of these(51 or 52)...don't know. It was $5 at a garage sale and he thought it was too much. He decribed it as Sony, white, incredably small and had retractable earphones.

speaking of 5.00 bills.....i was at the thrift store a couple of months ago when i came across a set off sony SRF-HM55 radio headphones. they are almost perfect with just a few hairlines of wear. they were marked 5.00. i don't know very much about them but i dug 5.00 out of my pocket and took the chance. i got home and put some batteries in and tried to figure out the functions. everything worked perfect. next i went to ebay to see if i could find some for auction. i couldn't believe they bring 50-100 for a nice near mint set. the moral is "he who hesitates is lost". i don't collect them but they fit in nicely with my players.
