After discussing Walkman art yesterday, I thought this was pretty interesting. It was a robot made from four WM-D6C's. A guy called Mark Tilden designed it in 1995. It could walk over various different terrains. A true wonder of engineering. Unfortunately for Mr. Tilden, it was stolen from his lab.

Now that, unlike the art, is cool!...I love the idea of completely changing something from its original purpose, very clever

tilden is an expert of robotics, a genius engineer that i have no trouble to consider an artist in his own way. remember that the greek word for art is τέχνη (techne), which means both art and craft --and trade, workmanship, artfulness, metier, technique...

swallowed a dictionary now!?...you must have a big gob to fit a thesaurus and a dictionary in!!

don't disagree tho that engineering can be a more impressive art form than 'art'

Nothing wrong with that my friend...knowledge is power!
