turns out --he lives near famous Fort Lauderdale -

only 30 miles away-

what a magnificent walkman collection -

i saw about 100 --most all mint and rare and gorgeous-

including the sony that changes colors-

Was excellent to meet a fellow passionate enthusiast for portable sound.   Thank you for kind words on the collection.   Next time we will have more time to spend checking out all the models with Antenna's you prefer.   And my chance next to visit your Boomer collection ( bet it takes up a lot more space than my 403 Walkman ;-)

   

That changing color Walkman is definitely to me the most beautiful player ever made and one of the last best sounding ones.  Not a DD9 but excellent nonetheless.   I took hundreds of photos in different lighting conditions and angles to get the more than 10 colors the chameleon metallic paint on this player exhibits.   Here is link to my topic on this awesome player with really great photos showing the many colors and combinations of colors you can see.

i just re-studied all the pictures in this good thread --

 

yesterday --and now that this nasty sandy storm has passed -

we had some ultra clear florida sun -

so --i can tell you guys that even these photos dont capture

how magnificent these colors really are
