Are you looking to collect vintage types? If so high end Sony's are often a good bet (DC2, WM-D6C etc). WM DD series I think are great, however they usually have the centre gear issue (do a search). Panasonic, Sanyo (often re-branded as Fisher) also made some good models. If you want to buy a cheap daily music machine then I'd recommend some of the late 90's Aiwa like HS-PX397...I've had several similar models and they've all been reliable and good sounding (just use good earphones, often the ones supplied are poor sounding and should be seen as reserves/spares). As always it's a very subjective hobby and we all have our favourites

Welcome to our fraternity.  Since you say you got to chose from the models listed of those I would say the WM-2 is a classic old style Walkman that actually sounds reasonably good especially for its age and if you like music loud the early models had higher powered amps in them.   Its also pretty easy to replace the belt if you need to and will hold value or go up with time.  Am not to familiar with some of other models you mentioned.  As said its one that sound good to you for what your going to use it for and type of music.  Orig. headphones were usually not of much quality so a good set helps out any player a lot. For portable walkaround the Koss Port A Pro is your best bet can be had for about $40 awesome bass. For under $100 USD probably one of very best choices.

Hi,  I'm curious, why can you only choose from these models?

What Country?  Maybe somebody from here may live in your 'country' and Can Help you   & a City may get you closer to assistance.

Agreed, why not ask us what we have within your budget?  I know I have a few which could use a new home.
